The tradition is renewed with the 31st edition of the Magnalonga of May 1st, the highly anticipated food and wine walk organized by Arcobaleno Sport, which every year attracts hundreds of participants among the woods, villages and flavors of the Mugello area.

A unique experience that combines sport, nature, gastronomy and culture, to discover the Tuscan Apennines and its wonders... one step at a time!

🌲 Two itineraries, same wonder
Departure and arrival at the Circolo Arci Il Tiglio di Vicchio, in Piazza della Vittoria 23. Two routes immersed in greenery to choose from:

• Medium itinerary: about 11 km, suitable for everyone, between Arsella, Rupecanina, Poggiolino and return through the Bosco di Mezzo.

• Long itinerary: approximately 20 km, for more trained walkers, with climbs up to Monte Verruca (879 m), passing through Malnome, Tronchetto and Collina.

🍷 Many flavors along the way
Along the way you will find tasting stops with typical products of Mugello and Val di Sieve, accompanied by wines of Chianti Rufina and Pomino. At the end, a hearty final snack/lunch awaits you at the Arci club.

🎶 Local culture and tradition

• In the afternoon, the Magnalonga will be enlivened by the Maggiaioli delle Caselle, with their popular songs in peasant costume.

• You will also have the opportunity to visit Vicchio, one of the oldest villages in Italy, and the nearby Lake Montelleri.

• Also not to be missed is a stop at Giotto's House in Vespignano, the Cappella della Bruna and the evocative Cimabue Bridge.

💚 A solidarity and sustainable event
The funds raised will be donated to local and international charitable activities. The entire event promotes values of sustainability, respect for the environment and enhancement of the territory.
